This was Wiederstandsnest W5: 400 m wide and 300 m deep. At low
tide the foreshore could be as wide as 800 m. and at high tide, the
water could reach the barbed-wire entanglement. The obstackles on the
foreshore, submerged by high tide: 'Czec porcupines' and artificial skerries.
